Washington freshman defensive lineman was in a boot and wheeling around on the sideline during pregame warmups, indicating he won't play Saturday and likely won't return soon. One player that did run on the field, junior edge rusher Zion Tupuola-Fetui, has already made an impact on the game in his 2021 debut returning from an Achilles injury. Junior safety Cameron Williams is also out Saturday but isn't expected to miss more than the game against UCLA.
Of the notable recruits, 2022 Rainier Beach wide receiver Jaelin Green was on the sideline. 2024 O'Dea running back Jason Brown is also at Husky Stadium for the third time this season. The Huskies have offered Brown but have not extended an offer to Green. Another senior recruit on campus without an offer is 2022 Arlington inside linebacker Quintin Yon-Wagner.
2022 four-star Henderson (Nev.) Liberty wide receiver Germie Bernard, a UW commit, is also in town this weekend.
