Washington has landed a commitment from three-star Emerald Ridge defensive end Jacob Lane this morning. The 6-foot-5 prospect picked the Huskies after a weekend on campus with his high school team for UW's 7v7 tournament. Lane used his lone official visit so far on a trip to Arizona, but he is expected to use his second on on a trip back to UW this weekend. Lane is another solid pickup for the Huskies and helps keep that connection with in-state recruits going. Lane is the second Emerald Ridge player to commit to UW in as many years after receiver Denzel Boston joined the team in the 2022 class. Lane put together a productive season as a junior and finished the year by collecting 47 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 6 1/2 sacks.
