It's been a whirlwind few weeks for UAB graduate transfer linebacker Kris Moll. The Florida native gained interest from several programs around the country, but he ultimately decided in late April to return home to Florida to play at UCF. Monday, he decided to announce his decision to back away from that commitment. Today, he has announced his plans to transfer to Washington. Moll is the second transfer addition pickup of the week for the Huskies after junior college transfer edge rusher Sekai Asoau-Afoa committed to UW on Monday. Moll has been considered a really strong transfer prospect after a successful career at UAB.

Moll is older as he has already played in 51 games over five years in college. However, an injury shortened his 2021 season allowing him to utilize a redshirt giving him an extra season of eligibility. In his career the 6-foot-2 linebacker 235 tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, six forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions. His best season came in 2019 when he finished the year with 104 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, nine sacks and four forced fumbles.
