Washington made the news official Friday afternoon as president Ana Mari Cauce announced the school's move to the Big Ten ending a prolonged saga that featured many twists and turns along the way.

"The Big Ten is a thriving conference with strong athletic and academic traditions, and we are excited and confident about competing at the highest level on a national stage," Cauce said. "My top priority must be to do what is best for our student-athletes and our University, and this move will help ensure a strong future for our athletics program."

The Huskies will officially become part of the Big Ten in the 2024-24 academic year joining Oregon, USC and UCLA as the Pac-12 schools to make the move to that conference.

I caught up with incoming freshman cornerback Caleb Presley at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio over the weekend, and he chatted with me about his decision to stay home, the difficulty of that decision and ultimately what swayed him back toward Washington after originally committing to Oregon. Check out the full interview from Texas above after a strong week for the Rivals100 cornerback headed to the Huskies.
