Huskies Close to Another Commitment..

I'm told Washington is expecting to get good news on the recruiting front soon from 2021 three-star Lufkin (Tex.) running back Caleb Berry.

Berry took a virtual tour of UW last Tuesday and he told me he will be announcing his decision soon. He did not say where he will be going, but he also has made a virtual tour to Texas Tech and has high interest in Arkansas and Nebraska. I made a FutureCast pick for Berry to UW after his visit but wanted to hold off a few days.

OFFER: 2022 Tight End

Washington offered 2022 Tacoma (Wash.) Lincoln tight end/athlete Chance Bogan, the son of former UW linebacker Curtis Bogan, on Friday. The Huskies are the second Pac-12 program to offer the 6-foot-4 and 205-pound offensive weapon following Colorado, prior to the departure of Mel Tucker to Michigan State.

Should help UW and first-year tight ends coach Derham Cato that they got the foot in the door early. Bogan should be a double digit offer prospect by next summer. I'll have more on this soon.
