The Huskies with a big addition tonight from a young recruit. California athlete LaMason Waller III is one of the top young prospects in California in the 2025 class. He has added some big offers from across the country including Georgia, Texas A&M and Oregon to name a few. Tonight he has committed to Washington after taking an earlier visit to Seattle. He has taken several trips already in the process, so he has a good feel for what he wants to do in the future. At this point it is playing for the Huskies. Keeping a commitment from a freshman can sometimes prove to be a challenge, but this is a very nice early get for Kalen DeBoer, JaMarcus Shephard and the rest of the UW staff.
