Several unofficial visitors were on the sideline before kickoff Saturday, the first game UW or any school has been able to host recruits since the 2019 Apple Cup. Among the names I noticed walking the sideline pregame:
2022 four-star Tumwater (Wash.) tight end Ryan Otton (committed)
2022 three-star South Hill (Wash.) Emerald Ridge wide receiver Denzel Boston (committed)
2023 four-star Lake Stevens (Wash.) running back Jayden Limar (uncommitted)
2023 four-star Tacoma (Wash.) Lincoln defensive end Jayden Wayne (uncommitted)
2024 Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea running back Jason Brown (uncommitted)
Some other pregame notes: Jimmy Lake came over to greet Brown while he was also talking with UW running backs coach Keith Bhonapha and other assistant coaches. Brown is one of the Huskies priority targets in the '24 class and the team offered him earlier.
