Wednesday is the Washington men's basketball banquet.

Here are some of the awards that were handed out (according to the UW Men's Basktball twitter account @UW_MBB):

- 101 Club Scholar Athlete: Desmond Simmons and Brendan Sherrer

- Brandon West Walk On Award: Brendan Sherrer

- Most Improved Player: Tony Wroten

- Marv Harshman Rebounding Award: Aziz N'Diaye

- Bill Wurster Hustle Award: Desmond Simmons

- Industrial Award to the team's hardest worker: Desmond Simmons

- Playmaker of the Year Award: Abdul Gaddy (ranked #2 in the Pac-12 in assists and assists to turnover ratio)

- Defensive Player of the Year: Aziz N'Diaye (1st Team All-Pac-12 Defensive Team member)

- Best Attitude Award/Coaches Award: Martin Breunig

- Hec Edmundson Most Inspirational Award: Darnell Gant (second-consecutive season winning this award)

- KJR Most Valuable Player: Terrence Ross

The Huskies will be saying goodbye to seniors Darnell Gant, Brendan Sherrer and Scott Suggs. They will also say goodbye to sophomore Terrence Ross and freshman Tony Wroten, who will both be entering the NBA draft.
