Update on Rivals100 Visitor

Washington is set to begin its Dirt Dawg Camp at 5 p.m. and several linemen already have lined up to check-in at Husky Stadium. One camper, four-star Kapolei (Hi.) offensive tackle Julius Buelow, the No. 90 ranked prospect in 2019 and No. 3 in the state of Hawaii for the class, is going to stay in town until Monday.

Buelow, a 6-7, 307-pound lineman, will fly out to Ohio on Monday before driving up to Notre Dame for an unofficial visit June 6. After his trip to South Bend next Wednesday, Buelow won't return to the mainland until late June for the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta, Ga. His mother told me that after UW and ND no other college trips are planned, and the family would prefer to have a decision before the start of his senior season.

"Timeline for a decision is flexible. We want to make sure he is all in with his decision before he commits. If he knows before the season starts that would be awesome," his mother told me this afternoon.

Huskies Tied for Lead After Offering...

Washington offered three-star Richmond (Tex.) George Ranch defensive end Peter Mpagi on Wednesday.

The 6’5, 220-pound lineman said UW co-defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski made the offer. Mpagi told me this afternoon now that the Huskies have offered, they are tied for No. 1 on his list with Northwestern.

“Their football culture and the connections you can make in the business school,” Mpagi said of UW.
