Reaction to UW's home win over Arizona, and Wroten's dunk on Chol

I want to open up a discussion to anyone who wants to talk about the Huskies recent home win over the Arizona Wildcats 79-70. Terrence Ross had 25 points, and looked like the pro prospect everyone has been expecting him to be all season. The Huskies played a good all-around game offensively and defensively, and there were some highlight dunks from Aziz N'Diaye and Tony Wroten. Arizona is a good team, and saw its five-game win streak snapped. This win put the Huskies in sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 with a 12-3 record, ahead of California who is 11-3. The Huskies now finish the season with three road games at Washington State, USC, and UCLA. Wroten's dunk on Chol symbolic

It must've been satisfying to Tony Wroten when he dunked on Angelo Chol.

Wroten thought Chol was coming to join him at the UW last year but Chol later decided on Arizona. The smile on Wroten's face afterward sort of said it all.

Best they've looked all year

I think this was easily the most complete game the Huskies have played all year. They often put together a good half or so, but they've put together that "40-minute masterpiece" like Romar has said before.

Well, this was it.

The defense gave a few too many open shots, but that's really the only complaint I came away with, and it didn't even hurt the Huskies as Arizona didn't make them pay.

Other than that, the Huskies hit the offensive glass, limited their turnovers, moved the ball, got in transition, and scored in an effective manner.

Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten finally realized they are always the best players on the court, and they should be attempting somewhere around 20 shots each every game. When they are aggressive, this is a tough team to beat.

Aziz N'Diaye was solid. When he is able to hit that little jump hook consistently, that adds another dimension to this offense and makes it really hard to stop.

Abdul Gaddy was efficient, racking up assists and limiting turnovers.

CJ Wilcox didn't get any shots in the first half, but added two HUGE 3-pointers late. He's starting to look more and more healthy, and that's key for the Huskies.

Overall, when Washington plays like this, it is a Top 25 team. Now lets see if they can keep up that success on the road. That's the real question at this point.
