Las Vegas-Bishop Gorman safety Kodi Decambra is down to six schools as he pushes ahead in the process with an expected decision sometime before his senior season. Washington has made the cut along with Oregon, Arizona, Oregon State, Colorado and Hawaii.
The Huskies offered Decambra back in February and has been a consistent part of the process since then. However, Oregon is the heavy favorite at this stage. He has already made multiple trips out to see the Ducks and that program continues to be in the best position. I've watched him on a few occasions this offseason and Decambra is a really strong player at his position with a toughness that coaches like in safety prospects. The feeling is that UW is one of the other schools most in play for his commitment, but right now everyone in the race is chasing Oregon.
