I spoke with 2018 four-star WR Chase Williams this morning and he said he heard of the Matt Lubick hire late last night, but said his interest in Washington hasn't changed with the hire and loss of Bush Hamdan. Despite coaching at Oregon, Ole Miss and Baylor in the past three months Williams said he hasn't gotten the chance to talk to Lubick, but he is looking forward to meeting the new receivers coach.
Williams is still planning on visiting Washington April 19th or April 29th and he will certainly get a chance to meet with Lubick then. I still expect UW to land Williams along with Austin Osborne and Melquise Spiker for the class of 2018 and have them as the three receivers for this year.
