HC at Vandy may be a guy the Husky AD would want to look very seriously at. He has done a Great job at former SEC doormat Vanderbilt. He is a fine recruiter as well. I know he isn't a west coast guy, but he wasn't an SEC guy before Vandy either !

I hope you guys find a killer coach. It will not be Franklin. We can debate all day about if USC contacted him through back channels and he turned them down. Last year he was contacted by Auburn and UT as well as offered by Arkansas. Barring Texas, Penn St, or Notre Dame knocking on his door he is not likely to leave. After his new contract he was the 10th highest paid coach in the country last year, Vanderbilt is building him anything he wants, and he is winning here.

Don't kid yourself, as soon as a place offers he thinks he can win big at offers he is gone, I just hope it isn't UF.

James Franklin is a great coach
