Several recruits were on hand this morning to watch UW begin spring football practices, including four-star Ferndale (Wash.) offensive guard Geirean Hatchett. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman has made numerous trips down Interstate 5, both for practices as well as Husky home games.
I made my FutureCast pick for Hatchett to Washington last October and ultimately it would be surprising if he ended up anywhere else. His parents made the trip down with Geirean on Wednesday and they spent a decent amount of the early portion of practice as UW OL coach Scott Huff went through drills.
