Been holding onto a couple recruiting notes since Monday in order to make sure the information was able to be confirmed. It's now Thursday and we've been able to make a few more things confirmed...

*** 2017 four-star Sacramento (Calif.) Burbank defensive end Deonte Johnson -- Washington was one of the schools that stood out the most early in the process for Johnson, but then essentially every other national program came calling with an offer and he eventually committed to Miami. Now, Washington is 4th ranked team in the country on the cusp of an undefeated regular season for the first time in over a decade.

The Huskies wanted to make sure that Johnson had sincere interest in Washington, not just looking to take a free visit for a game like USC-UW, a marquee game. The No.117 overall prospect and Canes commit would fill the "plus one" scholarship that remains open for the Huskies outside of their three offensive line spots.

*** 2017 three-star Layton (Utah) athlete Tayler Katoa -- Washington offered Katoa over the summer and has always been "right there" in his recruitment, but he will take an LDS mission following his senior season so he won't count toward the 2017 scholarship numbers. Katoa is another prospect who will take his official to Washington this weekend, with a couple of other visits set up for after the season as well.

Washington would obviously take Katoa since he wouldn't count against the scholarship numbers. Utah is one school to watch for the three-star prospect, in addition to Colorado.

*** 2017 five-star Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin offensive tackle Foster Sarell -- While it won't be an official visit there is a good chance that the Huskies get another unofficial visit from the nations No.3 prospect this weekend. Graham-Kapowsin plays Camas on Friday night, which would allow Sarell the opportunity to make the visit.

Sarell has visited UW for at least two games this season - both unofficial - and adding growing speculation that the Huskies are looking the best option for the 5-star prospect, with the fall of both Stanford and Notre Dame.

*** Confirmed visitors this weekend (bolded are official visits):

2017 4-star WR Terrell Bynum - committed to Washington
2017 4-star TE Hunter Bryant - committed to Washington
2017 4-star ATH Salvon Ahmed - committed to Washington
2017 4-star RB Connor Wedington - committed to Washington
2017 3-star LB Cade Otton - committed to Washington
2017 4-star DE Deonte Johnson - committed to Miami
2017 4-star OG Henry Bainivalu - uncommitted
2017 3-star ATH Tayler Katoa - uncommitted
