I was doing some snooping around the prospect list for UW and came across this story from January on KJ Jarrell.

With teammate Byron Murphy set to commit Thursday afternoon at Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro, the outcome of that ceremony could carry significant weight for Jarrell as well.​

The four-star safety told Rivals.com the school Murphy chooses would automatically become the favorite to land his signature down the road, too.​

"I'm most likely going where (Murphy) goes," Jarrell said. "On the field, we're so competitive and we make each other better. He's like my brother."

Any idea what the status is on KJ and if he is planning on coming up to UW during the Spring or Summer? He would be a big-time commit at safety and given we will probably only take one or two safeties...he better get up sooner rather than later to see if he wants to jump aboard.​

I spoke with 2017 four-star Kirkland (Wash.) Juanita athlete Salvon Ahmed this afternoon, and he informed me he will not take an unofficial visit to Washington this weekend. However, he has an unofficial visit set to Oregon for April 30th, for the Ducks spring game. He will also attend Stanford's junior day.
