I'm new to this site (about a month)...we are in the heat of the recruiting season....where'e the news...

After visiting Washington this weekend, 2018 four-star Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco safety Stephan Blaylock, a UCLA commit, will visit Westwood this weekend after the Bruins named former Iowa State head coach Paul Rhodes as defensive backs coach on Sunday.

Two other schools, Arizona State and Oregon, are also potentially in play for official visits but not set as of now.

To put to rest any rumors of Chris Petersen interviewing at Tennessee today, he is currently en route to Utah where he will have an in-home visit with three-star inside linebacker MJ Tafisi tonight. Tafisi is scheduled to take an official visit to Washington Dec. 15-17, the weekend most of the Huskies commits will be in town.

Three-star Houston (Tex.) Second Baptist offensive tackle Victor Curne told me Washington will have an in-home visit with him tonight. I'll have more of a feature on him later tonight but the Huskies are solid with Curne, and he has been telling schools he's firm to UW so most have given up at this point.

On the Jonathan Smith reports:

"No not at all. As long as coach Pete is there I’m perfect. Obviously I love coach Smith but I’ll always support him and you have to make some hard decisions in life and do what you gotta do. Always going to be 10000000% committed to Washington."

On the Jonathan Smith news:

"No, it is doesn’t have any affect on my commitment to Washington."

Amid reports Washington offensive coordinators/quarterbacks coach Jonathan Smith is leaving to take the Oregon State job, I had to ask if that influences his commitment.

His response: "I'm 100% committed to UW."

So that's that.

With the recruiting season entering the final stretch I wanted to have everyone have one thread to check for official visitors each month, broken down by weeks. UW already has a lot of December visitors coming in that I've posted about but I'll do my best to keep it updated.
