National Content: Some more love for Jake Browning

Each week we pick one player from each star category and spotlight them in a weekly feature titled "5-4-3-2-Un." This week's former four-star standout is Washington quarterback Jake Browning.

Here's a snippet:

Recruiting revisited: As a Rivals100 recruit in the 2015 class, Browning had his share of options. But Chris Peterson and the staff of Washington did a good job of identifying him early and landed his commitment in March of 2014. Despite late interest from Alabama, Browning stuck with the Huskies.

What he did this week: Washington is in the middle of renaissance and Browning is a big part of the school’s turnaround. After taking over as the starter during his freshman season, he has quickly emerged as one of the Pac-12’s top quarterbacks and his finest moment was guiding the Huskies to a 44-6 victory over Stanford on Friday night. He completed 15 of 21 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns. It’s still early in his career, but Browning is already living up to his Rivals100 ranking.
