The eats so far include: Beth's on Aurora, Little red Hen, and Dick's drive Inn, Zippy's Giant Burgers...

Possible sights are: The Pikes Market, The Troll, Jimi Hendrix Memorial, Burke Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park, The Center for Wooden Boats, Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection...

Is there any Nirvana related Museum or other Rock stuff that is cheap to do??

I'll be staying Near Beth's cafe on Aurora so hopefully the area is decent..

Here are the sites I am using..:

And:http://www.urbanspoon.com/pr/1/1/Seattle/Cheap-Eats.html

I'll be there 3 days so need a couple more cheap things to visit and maybe 1 more Diner type place that has good, food, and reasonable prices..

I am a UCF (University of Central Florida) Fan here in Orlando, Florida and can't wait to Visit your city.. Some Rock type stuff would be really cool as I am a huge fan of all the bands from that area.. Foo Fighters, AIC, Nirvana, Candlebox, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden..etc...

Thanks for any help...

Can't go wrong at Dick's Drive Inn. Not too far from University of Washington but on the west side of Interstate-5. Gotta bring cash. They don't take anything else.

Better check out Safeco Field while you're here. Buy the cheap seats in centerfield, but get them early. Not a bad setting for a small amount of money.

If you're in downtown Seattle, you might visit the Columbia Tower, take the elevator way up to the observation deck and get an unbelievable view of the Puget Sound area. It used to cost $5 a few years back but parking costs can be a lot more unless you get creative.

Good luck!

Thanks Ron.. Definitely adding the Colombia Tower Observation Deck.. Looks like it is currently $9 and right up our alley for affordability... Great suggestion..

Any one else??

I hear Slim's Last Chance Chili Shack has good food, and has live bands. I've never been there. I found out about it after I moved away from the Seattle area. http://slimslastchance.com/

Northlake Tavern has really good pizza especially if you like your pizza loaded with toppings and thick crust. It is expensive for pizza, but feeds a lot of people for the $. If you are traveling with kids they will not be able to go into the tavern. you can always get it to go and eat at Gas Works Park.

The Space Needle: It is worth seeing up close, but expensive to go up. As stated earlier, there are better/cheaper view points.

Green Lake was one of my favorite places to go while I lived there. There is a paved path around the lake with all kinds of sports fields/courts around the park. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/park_detail.asp?id=307

UW's campus is worth a walk through. I've always liked Drumheller fountain (frosh pond) with its view of Mt. Rainier. There is a lot to see and do near campus. http://www.washington.edu/discover/photos
Husky Stadium is in the middle of a huge remodel so unless you are interested in construction it might not be worth your time.

Thank you for the info.. I really appreciate the ideas.. Any other bars that have live rock music that are near Aurora and 85th would be cool..
